Scan steps
These steps apply to every handheld signed in for .
Change what dock staff do on each shipment. The handheld preview on the right updates as you go, and you can run a test scan in it.
Steps
Packing slip, number of pallets and pallet scans are always on. Number of pallets must come before the scans.
Packing slip
Reference numbers
Permanent references show on every shipment, right under PO and SO. The others are quick picks when dock staff tap + Add reference. Dock staff can also make a reference permanent from the handheld.

Dock checklist
Shipment is for (3PLs and shared docks)
For a dock that ships for more than one customer, like a 3PL. Dock staff pick who each shipment is for, it's filed under that customer so their login sees it, and their contact gets the updates. Switch the step on or off in Steps.
Additional details (custom fields)
Extra questions dock staff answer on each shipment, like seal number, temperature or "Liftgate needed?". Answers go on the certificate, the PDF, the booking email and to Cabo. For ID numbers you'll search by later, like BOL # or Load #, use Reference numbers instead.
Receiver pre-notification
Prototype: changes last until you reload. In the live version a saved workflow pushes to every handheld, and you can set one per customer.

Customer logins
Prototype: passwords aren't checked yet. In the hosted version each new login gets an invite email to set a password, and the server enforces who sees what.
Booking email
OnEvery certificate builds an email to your booking team with the PO, SO, dims, weights and certificate number. This is the default when Cabo isn't connected.
Cabo TMS (API)
Waiting on P1 accessWhen P1 grants API access, scans post straight into Cabo and no one retypes dims. In production the API key lives on the server, never in the dock app.
